UTA Social & Field Day

Good morning!

This week, SASE UH got something really special for y’all.

This Saturday, April 13th, we will have a social with our sister SASE chapter in UT Arlington. It will be from 5 pm – 7 pm at the Pit. Afterwards, we are going to Bellaire for dinner. Both events are a great way to learn about SASE outside of our own chapter and make some new friends.

On the other hand, this Friday, April 12th, the dynasty program finally created SASE’s first ever Field Day! It will be at the IM Fields from 4 pm – 7 pm and IEEE UH will join us. Field Day is the last big dynasty social we will have, so this will be the only opportunity left for each dynasty to show what makes their own family stand out.

Spring Dynasty Social

Hey everyone!

It’s finally time to reintroduce the SASE dynasty program with our “friendly” competition social! To those who don’t know, the dynasty program is to help the members feel more welcomed in SASE by joining a peer group. Each group has 5 mentors that will direct the energy of the dynasty and provide assistance to their mentees. This semester, SASE has 3 dynasties: Lo, Ly, and Nguyen. Each member will be assigned to a dynasty based on a personality test and their major.

As for the event, this will host a list of games created by all mentors for an “Olympics” style of competition. The dynasty with the most points gets a reward and major bragging rights. So come out and support your dynasty!

This event will be on February 21st at the engineering commons (the pit) from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Remember: We can talk trash and think our dynasty is superior, but we are all here for each other. All of this is to make everyone more connected with each other.

Also, if you are interested in signing up for the dynasty program, feel free to contact a SASE officer and we’ll send you all the requirements to complete.

But real talk, Lo Dynasty will always be the best 🙂
